I believe art allows people to speak intimately with each other without using language and that the resulting conversation can be deep and profound (even if light and whimsical).
I believe art is tethered to the core of what makes us human and that it can make a lasting connection of communication between one person and another.
I believe that the connection can be felt and understood on a most trusted, universal and personal level.
I have set out to make that connection. With you.
I am inspired by the body, especially the shapes of women and the movement of dancers.
I am inspired by the human face.
I am inspired by the landscape of my back yard and the companionship of dogs.
I am inspired by the process of giving my internal landscape complete freedom to express itself.
I am inspired by certain artists that went before me and some that are my contemporaries.
